Why Psychic Chronicle Exists

The online psychic services industry processes billions of dollars in consumer spending every year, yet receives almost no independent journalistic scrutiny. Mainstream outlets largely ignore it. The platforms themselves publish self-serving content. Most review sites are affiliate operations that rank platforms by commission rate rather than quality.

Psychic Chronicle was founded to fill that gap. We conduct real test sessions — paying for readings with our own money, under fictitious identities when necessary to prevent advisor coaching. We file formal complaints to test how platforms handle disputes. We interview working advisors about their experience on the platforms that host them.

Our methodology is published in full. Our editorial team does not accept payment, gifted credits, or other consideration from any platform. When we earn affiliate commissions — which we disclose — those commissions are determined after our ratings are set and do not influence them.

We believe informed consumers make better decisions. We believe the platforms that genuinely screen their advisors and stand behind their readings deserve recognition. And we believe those that mislead consumers or obstruct complaints deserve exposure.
